Palo Santo

Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) is a tree that can be found in Peru and Ecuador.  Even before burning the sticks there is a sweet smell akin to honey.  This aroma is cultivated once the tree has died and laid on the forest floor for years, refining the rich oils stored within.  The Palo Santo sold by our site is sustainably sourced and never cultivated by killing live trees.  It serves as a great tool for meditation, smudging, aromatherapy, and even as an effective mosquito repellant.

To burn Palo Santo you must hold it in a flame for about 30 seconds and blow out the flame.  Make sure to use a fire resistant and heatproof dish, such as our Ocean Jasper Bowls or Saucers, to hold the Palo Santo.  Due to the amount of time it takes to properly light Palo Santo sticks I do not advise using regular sized matches, as you may burn your fingers.

Each order comes with 2 Palo Santo sticks each measuring approximately 4 inches long.
