Amethyst is a purple form of quartz and is a high-vibration stone. It purifies the aura by creating a harmonious balance between the physical, mental, and emotional. Amethyst improves motivation and enhances memory. Which can be particularly useful in dream recall and visualization. Its protective bubble helps one maintain mental clarity and physical energy.

Amethyst has an interesting history. Amethystos means “not drunk” in Ancient Greek. They believed you could drink all night and remain sober if you had an amethyst in your mouth (not suggested) or on your person. The Ancient Egyptians wore Amethyst as a form of protection and to aid them in prayer.

When I faced a sudden loss, I turned to Amethyst to soothe my grief. While grieving is an appropriate response to loss it can almost feel overwhelming in the beginning. Listening to a sound bath while wearing Amethyst creates a rolling calm that emanates from your mind through your entire body.

Please note that Chevron Amethyst is a unique stone in which each piece is different.  The bands of White Quartz form a zig zag pattern with the purple Amethyst.  Each pendant will contain varying amounts of purple and white.  

Each pendant measures approximately 1.25 inches and includes an 18-inch silver plated chain.  The pendant pictured will be similar to the one you receive, but may not be identical due to the natural formation of the crystal.  This is especially true for Chevron Amethyst because of the banding throughout the stone.
